Strategic Planning

This is where we start to put your values to work. First we’ll design a strategic plan that identifies your core operational values. Then we’ll build an implementation plan that includes clear rules of engagement and roles and responsibilities for you, your partners and your key stakeholders. That’s how you build sustainable change that sticks, by placing the emphasis on execution. Knowing your ‘why’ tells you what race you are running; understanding ‘how’ charts the path to your destination.

Project Implementation

Change is hard and it’s a path no one should walk alone. I don’t just design you a path; I walk it with you, using my 5-step Sustainable Change methodology, which includes 25+ templates and worksheets, I’ll guide you and your team in the development of your practice. Together, we’ll build capacity in you and your team to ensure you have the right mix of skill sets and perspectives to navigate change. The Sustainable Change methodology achieves noticeable results, usually within 12-14 months.

Strategic Stakeholder Relations & Facilitation

Building multi-stakeholder networks is now an essential step in the work of addressing complex challenges. This isn’t work you can leave to an algorithm. This requires human-to-human interactions, which requires a mix of patience, calmness and empathy and good humour because every move you make, every step you take and every position you stake reveals your values to your stakeholders. Through a mixture of research, information gathering and old-fashioned conversations I help you build and execute a stakeholder engagement plan that cultivates and facilitates relationships for the long-term.

Communicate effectively and efficiently with key stakeholders to build and maintain trust as you move through change together. Put your values to work across all your communications channels, in media interviews and in the design and execution of events, from town halls to multi-day conferences. I help you design and create content that shows who you are, what you stand for, and how you anchor your work in helping to make a difference for the people and places you serve. When you lead with your values, you attract the attention of people who want to help achieve sustainable change that sticks.

Investment Attraction Strategy & Proposal Design

Diversify customers, funders, partners and markets while reducing unnecessary costs to ensure you’ve got the cash to flow through change. I research and advise you on how to develop an investment attraction strategy that attracts values-aligned investors and funding partners across the private, public and philanthropic sectors to support and scale your sustainable change initiatives. I’ll help develop investor proposals and cases of support that tells a compelling story about your work and where you want to go.

The UN SDGs are the world’s to-do list for addressing complex, wicked problems. I use the SDGs to anchor my work with clients and to help guide clients to identify the values they need to put to work creating sustainable change.
