Oh New Brunswick, you are predictable in the stories you tell. To the surprise of absolutely no one the province once again had a rather bad showing in Stats Can’s latest monthly labour markets survey. If we have any hope of changing this story arc, we’re going to have to reconcile three seemingly different viewpoints because each reveals a truth about this place. To do that, we need to identify the values that we share. I’ve got a few ideas of what those might be and I’d like to hear from you too. What do you think are the shared values of our province? What is its shared culture?
